Mature beauty enthusiasts have praised an eyeliner from Victoria Beckham for its smooth and straightforward application. Customers in their 60s and 70s have described the product as “highly impressive in every regard”.

The Satin Kajal Liner costs £32 with an optional free sharpener, and it’s one of the brand’s bestsellers, reports MyLondon.

In a review, a shopper said: “These eyeliners are my ride or die. They are perfect for mature eyes with more loose skin. The formula is creamy, soft and blends like a dream, and you have perfect time to play around before they set, and when they set, they stay where you want them to stay.”

It’s described to have a creamy, smudge-free formula that also claims to be waterproof and long-lasting. It comes in a wide range of shades, including mattes and some with shimmer, such as the shade Cocoa: a deep brown that is reportedly one of Victoria’s personal favourites.

There are 22 shades in total, and they range from muted earthy tones for everyday wear to vivid blues, purples and glitters for party looks. Every liner comes with a blending tool on one end that can be used to create a smoky eye look, perfect for the upcoming festive season. Another option that would work brilliantly with the shimmery shades is to blend the liner out across the entire eyelid for a fun, diffused look. However, it would also look great in solid, graphic lines.

The pencil’s creamy formula is a hit with shoppers of all ages, with numerous reviews from shoppers over 60.

“I love these eyeliner pencils!” wrote a happy customer. “So soft to apply, which is perfect for ageing skin, and they don’t break when you sharpen them. The sponge on the end is handy if you smudge.”

A customer in their 70s added: “I gave up on eyeliner until now. I’m 72 and applying makeup as you age is difficult, especially eyeliner, but not anymore.”

Another wrote: “This product is amazing, I was hooked after buying my first liner. It glides on beautifully, easily blended, non-smudgy after the initial few seconds. The colours are either subtle or extreme without losing sophistication. I’m mid-70s, but try stopping me from using these pencils. I have purchased them for my daughters, so I’m spreading the word! I want them all.”

The only issue some shoppers highlighted is down to the creamy consistency of the pencil, which some have said can lead to smudging. This is down to the kajal formula, which is typically quite soft. People who prefer more precise lines may be better off opting for a liquid eyeliner.
