YSL’s ‘gorgeous’ Libre is 25% off in LookFantastic Boxing Day sale

LookFantastic have knocked 20% off a best-selling Yves Saint Laurent perfume in the Boxing Day sales. Libre would usually cost £97 for a 50ml bottle but is now £77.60.

The iconic scent has been around since 2019 and has proven so popular its expanded into a number of different variations. The eau de parfum version, which is currently reduced, opens up with tangerine, neroli and lavender.

The heart matches the original with jasmine sambac and orange blossom in the heart. The base is two classic comforting notes of white musk and vanilla.

A description of the fragrance on LookFantastic reads: “Yves Saint Laurent’s Libre Eau de Parfum pays homage to the house’s most defining and enduring value: passionate and defiant freedom.

It’s pulled in an exceptionally high average rating of 4.93 out of 5 from across 339 reviews. One shopper wrote: “This is my all time favourite perfume! I always get compliments when wearing this. Gorgeous scent without being overpowering.”

A second penned: “What an amazing smell!! I bought it a few weeks ago and I absolutely love it! The perfume lasts for a long time as well – you don’t really need to top it up through out the day!”

A third said: “This is a lovely scent that always picks me up and makes me feel more confident. Great for a night out. Always get complimented when wearing.”

It’s not pulled in any negative reviews although it is quite expensive which is worth keeping in mind. This would be a good scent for fans of Alien by Mugler or YSL’s Black Opium.
