Watch TWICE Revisit Vibrant Hit ‘Strategy’ on ‘Fallon’

The track, which features Megan Thee Stallion, appears in animated hit KPop Demon Hunters
TWICE appeared on The Tonight Show to perform their song “Strategy.” The track was originally released in 2024 as part of the K-pop group‘s EP of the same name. The recorded version features Megan Thee Stallion, although she did not join the musicians for the performance.
The girl group revisited the track on the late-night show to celebrate its inclusion in Netflix animated film KPop Demon Hunters, which is currently up for Best Animated Feature at the Oscars.
Last year, TWICE made history as the first female K-pop act to headline Lollapalooza — or Twicepalooza, as their fans dubbed the event. In October, they became the first K-pop group to perform at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
Group members Jihyo, Chaeyoung, and Jeongyeon recorded “Takedown,” a new song, for the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack. Notably, the members appear in human form singing the track at the end of the film.
“We didn’t accept this because we knew it would be a huge success,” Chaeyoung told Rolling Stone. “It just sounded like fun. The soundtrack itself is very different from our style, so it was an opportunity to challenge ourselves.”
She added, “Whenever I read articles or see that the songs from the movie are topping the Billboard chart, I am really grateful we had this opportunity. We never imagined that KPop Demon Hunters was going to become an international sensation.”
Kpop Demon Hunters has remained in the zeitgeist since its release last year. Its lead song, “Golden,” won a Golden Globe and Critics’ Choice Award, and is nominated for Best Original Song at the Oscars.
