The Flaming Lips and Modest Mouse Announce 2025 Co-Headlining Tour

The Flaming Lips and Modest Mouse will spend the end of their summer on the road together. The two bands will co-headline an upcoming North American tour with support from guest openers Friko and Dehd.
The Good Times Are Killing Me tour will begin on Aug. 1 in Atlanta. The Flaming Lips and Modest Mouse will make stops in Raleigh, Richmond, Philadelphia, Portland, New Haven, Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Chicago, Houston, San Diego, and more cities. The run is scheduled to wrap in Troutdale, Oregon with a two-date stint Sept. 10 and Sept. 11.
General sale for the tour will begin Friday, March 28 at 10 a.m. local time. Artist presales will begin on Wednesday, March 26 through the official website for both bands.
Modest Mouse and the Flaming Lips last shared the bill on an the Unlimited Sunshine tour with Cake, De La Soul, Kinky, and the Hackensaw Boys in 2002. The roster is less crowded this time around. Each night on the Good Times Are Killing Me tour, Modest Mouse will kick off the night with the Flaming Lips closing out. The only exception are the final two nights in Troutdale, where Modest Mouse will end the night near their Portland home base.
