Shoppers buy ‘flattering’ linen trousers in multiple colours

Marks and Spencer is selling the perfect spring trousers ideal for warmer days and lighter evenings. Shoppers are so impressed with the Pure Linen Tapered Trousers that they’re buying them in more than one colour, with them coming in five gorgeous shades. This includes natural beige, black, white, brown and navy. 

The linen trousers cost £45 and are available in sizes six to 24 in extra short, short/petite, regular and long. Several sizes are currently sold out, highlighting the popularity of the Pure Linen Tapered Trousers that M&S says are a ‘sophisticated addition to your warm weather wardrobe’. They offer a contemporary fit with a ‘flattering’ high waist that’s elasticated at the back for comfort.

The trousers have two front pockets, two back pockets, plus a neat hook bar and zip fastening. They’re part of the M&S Collection; easy-to-wear wardrobe staples that combine classic and contemporary styles.

The linen trousers can be worn for a casual day out with a t-shirt and sandals, or can be dressed up for an evening occasion with a blouse, wedge heels and jewellery. Next is selling similar Stay Smart Wide Leg Linen Rich Trousers for £36 that are available in petite and regular lengths in four colours. 

ASOS has Topshop linen straight leg trousers priced at £46. They’re available in four different colours and patterns, however they only come in one length.

Dozens of M&S customers have reviewed the Pure Linen Tapered Trousers to date, with them earning an overall rating of 4.3 out of five. One delighted buyer wrote: “Beautiful linen trousers. Great trousers with a flattering fit. The material is high quality. Would buy again.”

“These are lovely linen trousers,” commented a second happy shopper. “I bought two pairs. Styling and quality are excellent. I think I’ll be living in these for summer.”

A third said: “I love these trousers. The style, the fabric and the fit are spot on. I’m planning on ordering another colour. Haven’t worn them yet, as they are for spring and summer.”

Sadly one M&S customer was left disappointed, as they explained: “Although smart, the linen was thicker than expected. For me the high waist was so high I could tuck it underneath my bra. Not a great look.”

However, someone else was thrilled, as they wrote: “I was very pleased with these lovely white linen trousers. Nice material, not really see through, but I would still wear natural underwear. Slightly elasticated back, good length. Altogether a good pair of trousers, I liked them so much I bought them in brown too.”
