Roman’s £45 winter dress gets shoppers ‘lots of compliment

Fashion lovers are raving about a dress from Roman – and it’s ideal for the chilly season. The Port Ombre Knitted Jumper Dress is available for £45 and it could be the next best buy as temperatures drop.
This knitted dress comes in sizes 10 to 20 and either port ombre or ivory ombre colours, meaning there are options for all. The dress features a ‘modest round neckline’ and full-length sleeves that have cuffs, making it a versatile option for a work day, lunch with friends or even dressed up for dinner.
It comes to the knee and the standout design of ombre shading is sure to keep the compliments flowing in. This dress is also completely machine washable, and is made from 51% viscose, 30% polyester and 19% polyamide.
If it’s a longer style dress that shoppers are after, they could try the Dark Burgundy A-Line Knitted Midi Dress, which is priced at £34.99 and is a best-seller on the New Look website. This one comes in sizes 6 to 22 and is also available in colours black and dark brown.
Weird Fish has a limited-time offer on its Dutton Fair Isle Knitted Jumper Dress Deep Teal, which is now down to £59.50 from £70. It comes in sizes 8 to 22 and features a crew neck with rolled edge, ribbed cuffs and is midi length.
The Roman Port Ombre Knitted Jumper Dress has a high 4.7 out of five star-rating on its website. One person said: “Beautiful fit and so warm, I get lots of compliments when I wear it.”
Another wrote: “Lovely comfy dress for autumn. I wore it with boots and a biker jacket. It’s so soft and has plenty of room.” A third said: “Good length, good weight and festive-looking without being too glittery.”
There were some concerns about sizing, for example, as this person said: “The sizing is very generous. Actually, I normally get a 10 without any problems, however, I had to have this dress taken in at both sides because it was too baggy. Apart from that, I love it.”
Another commented: “Purchased a size 16 but received the size 18, the dress label said 18 but the loose label said 16. However, despite the above, I have kept and worn the dress already. Received some compliments on how nice it looked.”
