My Chemical Romance Delay First Show of the Black Parade 2026 Tour

The group is scheduled to perform 17 global shows in celebration of their 2006 album The Black Parade
My Chemical Romance have been forced to delay the first night of their upcoming the Black Parade 2026 tour. The trek was scheduled to kick off at Vive Claro Distrito Cultural in Bogotá, Colombia, on Jan. 22, but that show has now been pushed back to Feb. 10.
“Due to reasons beyond the control of ourselves, the promoter, or the venue, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our show in Bogotá, Colombia,” the band wrote on Instagram over the weekend. “The new date will be Tuesday, February 10, 2026. The Hives will still open and the schedule will remain unchanged. All other dates in South America and Mexico City will continue as planned. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our fans and look forward to seeing you in a few weeks.”
They added, “All original tickets will be honored for the new date. Find more information about refunds through Ticketmaster.co channels.”
The Black Parade 2026 is an extension of the emo band’s Long Live the Black Parade Tour, held in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their seminal album The Black Parade. The tour features 17 dates beginning in South America in January. It will head to Asia in April, Europe in June and July, and North America in August, September, and October. The tour is scheduled to conclude with three nights at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles in October 2026.
The Long Live the Black Parade Tour began in July and spanned 12 dates. “There was headbanging, screamo singing, and high-voltage energy that reached every corner of the stadium before My Chemical Romance exploded into fan favorite ‘Helena,’” Rolling Stone wrote in a review of the band’s hometown show. “For the final chorus of the track, Gerard belted the notes along with the entire sold-out crowd while he was down on his knees. ‘I felt that one in my bones,’ he said.”
