M&S’ stylish £28 trousers shoppers love are ‘perfect’ for summer and ‘suit everybody’

Tracking down the perfect trousers for summer can be a challenge, but once you’ve found a versatile pair, they can be worn across a multitude of occasions. Whether it’s travelling, a garden party, or going to work, finding a good pair of trousers that can become a staple garment is important for many people.

The M&S Linen Blend Wide Leg Trousers, priced at £28, are gaining popularity with shoppers, and there are a multitude of colours available. But shoppers must be quick, as they’re flying off the shelves.

The description of the trousers on M&S reads: “Breezy and effortless, these lightweight linen-rich trousers are perfect for summer and warm-weather styling.

“Cut in a flattering loose wide leg fit with a comfortable high-rise waist and practical drawstring fastening for a relaxed feel.

One TikTok user said: “These are the best linen trousers.” A second wrote: “These suit absolutely everybody, but they sell out fast.”

A third commented: “They are the perfect trousers ever.”

Shoppers on the M&S website also loved the trousers, with one review reading: “These are gorgeous lightweight trousers.”

Another review read: “Good leg length, they wash well, I’m very pleased with my purchase.”

M&S currently has a variety of colours in stock, but the sizing is limited, so shoppers should not wait to purchase them if they have their eye on them.

Colours include black, grey stripe, white, red stripe, navy and a blue stripe. They are also available in different lengths, including extra short, short, regular and long.

If you can’t find your size, TikTokers recommended checking out Vinted to see if anyone is selling some.

However, other shoppers weren’t too happy with their purchase, with some claiming the quality had “suffered” this year.

One review read: “Had these last year and they were great, so decided to repurchase, but they shrank after one wash.”

Another said: “Didn’t like these at all. They were way too see-through, and the quality wasn’t as good as the ones I’ve purchased in previous years.”

These trousers are a linen blend, which helps them keep their shape and stay comfy, and many other retailers also sell similar styles.

TU at Sainsbury’s has a variety of linen-blend wide-leg trousers, currently £18 at the time of writing.

Colours include green, black, white and blue, with a good size range available.

H&M also has a huge variety of linen-blend trousers, with colours including blue, beige, red, and black.
