Megan Thee Stallion Teases Hot Girl Summer Fragrance Collaboration With Ulta Beauty

Megan Thee Stallion gave her followers a preview on Instagram Thursday of something new in the works. She attended an Ulta Beauty event in New York City on Wednesday, snapped photos with attendees, and posted about it with a very telling hashtag: #HotGirlSummerEDP.
That hashtag is the clearest signal yet of a fragrance partnership between the rapper and Ulta Beauty. EDP stands for eau de parfum. It’s a fragrance concentration level known for being longer-lasting than a regular cologne. Hot Girl Summer – one of the most recognizable phrases in hip-hop over the past several years – is getting its own scent.
Her caption was casual but deliberate. On Instagram, she wrote, “Yesterday @ultabeauty with thee nyc hotties (ok frfr maybe 2 more posts until the real announcement lol) #HotGirlSummerEDP.” She’s telling fans to expect at least two more teaser posts. The main announcement hasn’t landed yet.

Megan coined Hot Girl Summer around 2019. The phrase caught on fast. It became a hit song, a cultural moment, and eventually a registered trademark.
