Lorraine Kelly looks chic in ‘perfect summer dress’ from Boden

Lorraine Kelly was recently seen wearing a stunning summer dress that some fans noticed she previously wore on her self-titled ITV show. 

As she jetted off to Zimbabwe, the 65-year-old sported the Boden Chirstabel Cotton Midi Dress in a ‘gallery blue and walled garden’ print. Retailing at £126, this piece has proved popular among shoppers and has even been praised as the ‘perfect summer dress’. It boasts a wrap V-neckline, a stripe border trim as well as functional side pockets. The floaty, short sleeves add a touch of charm to this piece, whilst the stretch shirred waist ensures all day comfort. 

Fans commented on Lorraine’s Instagram, with one asking: “Safe travels. Love your dress, where is it from please?” A second said: “You had that dress on your show the other day. Where is it from? Love blue.”

The Christabel dress is also available in a slightly darker “glacier blue and orante vine” colour; or “pink and wildflower bouquet” print – both with an RRP of £129. One shopper left a five-star review and said: “This dress is perfect for summer. Materials is lovely and sift. It isn’t lined but that makes it perfect for Mediterranean holidays.”

Another added: “Beautiful dress, super light and airy fabric. It fits really nicely and is just the epitome of a summer dress.” But the V-neckline poses an issue for fuller-busted shoppers. 

“Gorgeous shape of skirt but this dress is not for anyone with bigger busts as the waist of this dress is too hight,” a third person shared and another shopper said: “Beautiful print though possibly a bit much for petites. Main issue was that the waist was too high even in petite size.”

Someone else received compliments after wearing the Boden dress for a ‘posh lunch’ and added: “It’s so comfortable to wear and did not crease.”
