Lauren Zima Celebrates Victory After Dragging Chris Harrison To HomeGoods

Lauren Zima was a torture spell to any would-be partners trying to work their magic; she dragged the hard-to-trap lightning-in-a-bottle man, Harrison, into HomeGoods. If Instagram is anything to go by, this was practically a miracle: our proud hostess had proclaimed, “I finally got Chris Harrison into a HomeGoods, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. My prayers have been answered!!!”

The super-quick post advertising Harrison sniffing around the aisles shot to immediate fame-justly so, because watching a guy who once guided worlds filled with dramatic rose ceremonies now weighing the pros and cons of decorative towel embroidery is the best show that can be put up.
Reactions poured in. One user jokingly wished Harrison gave one of his classic Bachelor lines: “This is our most dramatic shopping session yet!” Another chimed in, “There is a GOD!! It’s about time or I was going to call a marriage counselor.”
But really, the comment section exploded with how a bar would be the best thing to ever happen to HomeGoods. Harrison seemed to suggest that idea himself, getting a comment back: “Missed opportunity.” Can you imagine the sales if mimosas were a thing?
For others, it was an opportunity to reminisce about HomeGoods battles: “I dragged my hubby to 5 HomeGoods in the Dallas area because I needed a complete set of plates.” The other one marveled at the change in Harrison: “He’s hooked! Ready to come back for more!”
Some were lost in thoughts about the vacancy while walking away from shopping. “How was that HomeGoods empty? I need to go to that one!!” came the query.
The post was much bigger than a laugh, shining a light on small but real wins in relationships-a win for each little thing, even if it takes years of begging, that has ever so slightly implied that your partner is willing to at least entertain something you love. Judging by the comments, this was a win for all couples.
For Harrison, well, aside from not handing out roses anymore, he is clearly dragging himself into something new-home décor. Or at least, the)or at least, HomeGoods bar). Either way, congrats, Lauren.
That, of course, opened a whole batch of nostalgia for the Bachelor bunch, with one commenting scathingly, “How good does it feel that the Bachelor franchise is collapsing?” That hurt. But, hey, Harrison has got a new gig.
In the end, the real lesson is: never discount HomeGoods. And maybe it’s about time that petition for a bar inside the store be ignited. If Chris Harrison supports that, then surely it’s the right thing to do.

Cheers to tiny wins, happy partners, and to the days when we will be combining throw pillow shopping with drinking. Just a girl dreaming.
