KUWTK Producer Reveals Kanye West Scene That Was Cut

One tense exchange involving Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband Kanye West and her family was allegedly cut from a Keeping Up With A Kardashians episode.

Former KUWTK producer Farnaz Farjam claimed that a 2020 scene captured West, 49, fighting with Kardashian, 45, and her mom, Kris Jenner, about his attempt to run for president while the family celebrated Caitlyn Jenner’s birthday.

“Kanye came to Caitlyn’s house with Kim,” Farjam explained in an excerpt of Jonathan Van Meter’s upcoming Citizen Kim biography shared with The Cut Tuesday, October 13, “and he just started ripping into Kris and the family and questioning them about not voting for him. He just made it all about himself.”

“That whole 30-minute battle was very telling,” he said of the pair’s interaction, “but we had to edit it out.”

Instead, a 2020 episode of KUWTK showed a clip of Kim crying to sisters Kourtney Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner about being married three times. (Kim was previously married to Damon Thomas and Kris Humphries before West.)

“I just honestly can’t do this anymore,” Kim said. “I feel like a f***ing failure and it’s, like, a third f***ing marriage…Yeah, I feel like a f***ing loser.”

“He should have a wife that supports his every move,” she said at the time, “and travels with him and does everything I can’t.”

Kim ultimately filed for divorce from West in 2021. The pair — who welcomed daughters North, 13, and Chicago, 8, and sons Saint, 10, and Psalm, 7, during their relationship — finalized their separation one year later.

While West has since married Bianca Censori, Kim has moved on romantically with F1 driver Lewis Hamilton. In a profile with U.K.’s The Times earlier this month, Kim made a rare comment about her dating mindset and shared that she was “really single for five years” after her divorce.

“And that felt great,” she said. “I could focus on my kids and projects that I really wanted to be involved with. I really felt no rush. Like, I really didn’t feel empty. I felt like I needed my time. I wanted to completely heal and just work on myself. I wasn’t ready to open up. I really wasn’t even thinking about it. The universe works in your favour when you just allow it to.”

When asked if she would be open to discussing her relationship with Hamilton, 41, Kim told the outlet, “In the most respectful way, I’d probably rather not.”
