Kevin Gates Shows Up At Lakers Game After Controversial LeBron James Comments

Kevin Gates was just there to chill at a Lakers game right after he stated, “Ain’t no beef,” only to invite some interesting comments this time around concerning LeBron James’s wife, Savannah James. As all of the above old comments resurfaced (and perhaps one or two new ones), it found Gates courtside at a Lakers game inside the fabulous Crypto.com Arena. And the internet? Well, they had THOUGHTS.

Let us rewind it back some. One might say that Gates made some ‘distasteful comments’ concerning Savannah and without any doubt did make quite a few heads turn. But it certainly didn’t seem to bother the guy and he made the most outrageous decision to enter the same building as LeBron, dressed as he normally is in a huge shirt and skinny jeans. Boy, that’s brave!
Instagrammer Ryan 🤿 posted the clip of Gates sitting courtside, and the ensuing spooling comments were a total rollercoaster from confusion, cracking jokes to pure disbelief. Bottom line, Baramor_268 succinctly summarized: “And paid for floor seats to be ignored and watch LeBron win.” Ouch. Jacob Munoz hit with, “How did a homeless man buy floor seats next to Kevin Gates.” Brutal!
Not everyone was dragging Gates, though. Some took the other viewpoint, such as TNW, pointing out Gates is from Baton Rouge and that his comments weren’t supposed to be taken that seriously: “Being a Ngga from BR, it really ain’t that deep; that’s why he said as long as Bron is being celebrated, he don’t care how y’all feel about him.” Fair enough, still… risky!
And the jokes about Gates’ typical fashion style just kept rolling in. Brianna (SorionGrande) basically made an entrance: “The only way I recognize Kevin Gates ever is bc he ALWAYS has an opened shirt on that looks 2 sizes too small and skinny jeans.” Fair. Nick Woods was like, “No idea what you’re talking about. That’s the chicken jockey guy.”
The actual question, however, was if LeBron even gave him the acknowledgment. Mr. Carter says that was never gonna happen: “LeBron is smart enough to not approach this man. Bro is asking for a confrontation. LeBron has too much to lose.” And honestly? Facts.
But then it got funnier because people just started shouting out to Jack Black. Watching replies, multiple people cared more to highlight that Jack Black was at the game, too. Like, Daniel Navarro straight-up said, “Jack Black is the real treat.” Honestly? Valid.

Anyways, if there was anything to be learned from this whole Kevin Gates scenario, it is that if you talk crazy stuff, you better be able to back your words. And whether they were laughing at him, laughing with him, or utterly confused, what is for sure is that he had them talking.
