I’m in my 70s and I found the best tinted cream on Amazon that firms my skin

A pensioner in her 70s has hailed an anti-wrinkle skincare buy as the “best tinted moisturiser ever” and it’s currently part of the early Amazon Prime Day offers.
Having tried different skincare formulas, she found the Perricone MD High Potency Face Finishing & Firming Tinted Moisturiser the most versatile. The “miracle in a jar” also comes with SPF 30 and is packed with antioxidant powerhouse to minimise the appearance of wrinkles and imperfections.
Currently 16% off, Amazon shoppers can buy the cream for £51.20 and while it might not be the most affordable one on the market, many customers agreed that “a little goes a long way“. You can ditch your foundation and use the Perricone MD moisturiser for a skin-perfecting makeup look thanks to the encapsulated pigments.
It’s a “one shade fits all” product as the pigment will blend into the skin upon application to reveal a warm tint that adjusts to your individual skin tone.
The pensioner shared: “The coverage is gentle and just gives a lovely healthy glow to my skin. You can build up the coverage as you desire, but for summer and early autumn this is perfect. I hate wearing foundation during the warmer months so, very glad I found this.
“So pleased with the product, that I am now using the high potency moisturiser as my day to day cream. Fast delivery and well packaged. I am in my 70’s so have some signs of age spots and redness, but it was still sufficient to give me the glow I was looking for.”
The skin-firming DMAE helps to visibly lift and firm the skin, which is ideal for skin prone to sagging. It is often paired with antioxidants to help enhance protection against UV exposure and pollutants.
Another shopper was impressed with the natural “tan finishing”, adding: “I love the sheer coverage, and dewy complexion this cream gives me. As this product does look and feel like a skin cream rather than more cosmetic/makeup based tinted moisturisers I do think my skin has improved, certainly think I see an improvement in texture (with the anti ageing benefits) but this could just be a placebo effect. I do think my skin is more hydrated vs. other ‘tinted moisturiser’ type creams I’ve used in the past (I’ve tried most).”
A third shared before and after pictures in the review and exclaimed: “Well, the hunt is finally over and I can’t say I’m going to miss the seemingly never ending search for the best tinted moisturizer for my mature skin! This is it! On the left side you can clearly see redness and some age spots which are also on the right side. But with this lovely tinted cream, you can’t see all that! I’m in love with this product! This jar just arrived today and I’ve already ordered two more jars.”
But not everyone found the colour suitable for them as a three-star shopper said: “I bought it instead of makeup, the cream was lovely on the face but it was still too pale for me as I haven’t got a lot of colour. That was the only reason for only 3 stars nothing wrong with this cream if the colour is enough for you.”
Elsewhere, Peter Thomas Roth 24K Gold Pure Luxury Lift & Firm Prism Cream is a self-adjusting illuminator. You can achieve a “glow from within” thanks to the three shade-sensing spheres that self-adjust to complement any skin tone, giving a full-spectrum of radiance. You can get it on Face The Future for £33.75.
