Glen Powell Flaunts Bulging Body in Muscle Suit for GQ Cover

Glen Powell took bodybuilding to a camp level while posing for the cover of GQ.
Powell, 36, embraced the extremes while appearing in GQ’s October “New Masculinity” issue, which was published digitally on Tuesday, September 9. While modeling for the publication, he wore an exaggerated muscle suit that gave him bulging biceps, thighs and calves.
“Presenting GQ‘s October issue: a special report on the state of the American male in 2025,” the publication captioned their Instagram post featuring the cover, revealing his interview would touch on the current state of masculinity, being a modern-day leading man and more.
On the cover, he smoldered in a white tank top and Calvin Klein boxer briefs. He tugged the hem of his tank up, to reveal the suit, which gave him an almost otherworldly level of brawn.
Elsewhere in the photo shoot, the Anyone But You actor playfully posed as if he was getting injections in his face. He lay on a metal table while hands around him held up neon syringes near his face and teeth whitening samples. Powell smiled hard with an oxygen mask over his face, wearing a white Tom Ford dress shirt and striped tie by GmbH.

After getting touched up, Powell posed as a picture-perfect politician who had loads of work done. He donned shiny skin that reflected as plastic and extra contoured cheeks. His hair was slicked down and no strand was out of place. In the photo, he wore a Louis Vuitton blazer, a white Tom Ford dress shirt and a red Brooks Brothers tie. He posed in front of an American Flag and completed his look with a patriotic pin on his lapel.
In the interview, Powell opened up about being cast multiple times as a “cocky” guy, including Ben in Anyone But You, Lt. Jake “Hangman” Seresin in Top Gun: Maverick, and more.
“I’ve never been Mr. Cool,” he said of his real-life personality. “And what’s funny is that you start getting cast in certain things — like Hangman is not me, right? I’m not that guy.”
The actor added, “That’s the funny part about Hollywood. You can’t really choose it. People have to cast you in these movies. And I think what I started realizing is that people got enjoyment out of watching me be really cocky and confident.”
