FatFace’s bestselling Adele dress reduced from £69 to £25

As the weather turns gloomy and the nights draw in, it seems the chilly season is well and truly here. However, that also means it’s an excellent time to revitalise the wardrobe, with many brands running sales on the previous season’s lines.
FatFace is currently selling its popular Adele linen midi dress in yellow for £25, down from £69, saving shoppers £44. Bright and breezy, this eye-catching staple moves seamlessly from work to weekend.
With a lightly summery feel to it, the Adele dress’ cheerful pastel check pattern layers well with boots and a jacket throughout the winter season but will also pair perfectly with sandals once spring returns. Constructed from a breathable cotton-linen blend, it falls to a midi length and has a relaxed, flowy style.
A smocked bodice provides a flattering, form-fitting shape through the torso, which is tied together with a structured square neckline and elasticated sleeves. There are also handy side pockets, and the dress is machine washable.
The Adele yellow midi dress comes in regular sizes 6 to 24, although sizes 14, 16, 18, and 24 are currently unavailable. There’s also a green version (£32) in a limited number of sizes, while the black version is almost fully out of stock on the FatFace website.
For a slightly edgier look, shoppers could try H&M’s long shirt dress in grey and snakeskin for £32.99, which comes in sizes XXS to XXL. The ankle-length dress features a button-up front, raglan sleeves, and a gently flared skirt – not to mention its standout snakeskin pattern.
Another option is the Dorothy Perkins floral dropped waist A-line midi dress sold at Debenhams for £27.30, with 30% off the £39 full price. Its light blue floral pattern contrasts beautifully with the chocolate-coloured material, while puffed shoulders and long sleeves add a contemporary touch. This comes in sizes eight to 18.
The Adele dress, which is rated 4.3 out of five on the FatFace website, has received rave reviews from shoppers. One wrote as part of a longer review: “What a perfect dress! I wasn’t expecting to love this as much as I do, but I have already worn it several times since buying it a couple of weeks ago.”
They added: “It fits beautifully, the cuffs are elasticated allowing for a longer or shorter sleeve, and it’s so comfortable. It’s that perfect balance of casual and dressed up, and also something I can see myself wearing in both summer and winter which is amazing!”
Another simply wrote: “Love the Adele dress.” While a third said: “Beautiful linen blend dress. Perfect for summer days or winter nights. Dress it up with heals or down with trainers. Lovely calming green colour. Goes with gold or silver jewellery. Great FatFace fit. Suitable for a fuller bust too.”
One did comment on the length of the dress on FatFace’s site, leaving four stars. They wrote: “Had to take five inches off the bottom.”
Another had trouble with delivery, leaving a review on Trustpilot: “Waited a long time for delivery. When ordered, they said next day. Took over a week.”
