The Detroit Lions are in the midst of a historic playoff run, which means there’s plenty of reasons to celebrate in the Motor City — just ask the head coach’s wife.
Holly Campbell, the wife of Lions head coach Dan Campbell, threw a holiday shindig for the “Lions Ladies” — a.k.a. the players and coaches’ significant others — which Holly showed off via Instagram.
“Kicked off the Holiday Season with my friends!! Love our group of ladies!!” Holly captioned the video, which showed off the celebratory event’s festive treats and decorations.
The massive food spread included a charcuterie board, pan seared salmon, yogurt parfaits, avocado toast and garden frittatas.

Holly also organized a huge cookie table featuring custom-made Lions cookies to celebrate the holiday season.
There were meticulously-wrapped gifts for all of the party attendees, which Holly graciously revealed were the result of a team effort. The bag charms were made by Scarlett Fraley, the daughter of Lions offensive line coach Hank Fraley.
“Shout out to one of our little Lions Ladies @scarlett_grace_fraley for making the bag charms on the gifts!!” Holly shared via Instagram. “Thank you Miss Scarlett!!!💙💙💙😍.”
The charm was a hit with Bri Davis, the wife of Lions assistant defensive line coach Cameron Davis. “I love mine! Thanks, Scarlett. 💙,” Bri commented on Holly’s post.
Fortunately for Holly’s husband — who has led the Lions to an 11-1 start and first place in the NFC — she made sure he didn’t miss out on all the goodies.
“Food looks amazing, did you save Coach a plate? 🤣,” one follower commented on Holly’s post. She responded, “Definitely!!!”
In a recent exclusive interview with Us Weekly, Christen Harper Goff — the wife of Lions quarterback Jared Goff — explained what makes the bond between all of the Lions’ families so special.
“I think going through all the ups and downs together have really brought us closer together,” Christen explained. “We leaned on each other during the tough times and we celebrate the fun times together.”
Christen, 31, added, “Everyone’s in a unique position because we’re all coming from different places. There’s some girls who are from here, but generally it’s girls moving to a new city where they don’t know anybody. A lot of us are lucky because there was this fresh start around the time Jared came to the team, so a lot of us were getting to know the city at the same time.”
The Lions return to action on Thursday, December 5 against the Green Bay Packers.
