Charlotte Tilbury’s new serum has shoppers ‘delaying laser treatment’

The sun is out and that means it’s time to get our radiance back. Recently launched, Charlotte Tilbury’s new Dark Spot Correcting Radiance Recovery Serum is here to help beauty fans tackle a range of skincare concerrns. The brand’s CEO Charlotte said the clinically-proven results showed a reduction in the appearance of six common problems: dark spots, blemish marks, sun spots, age spots, dark circles and hyperpigmentation.
The results even left some of the testers saying they would “delay having a laser treatment”. With seven years of research, the serum is powered by the patented Precision-Face Evenskin technology that includes adaptive Amber Microalgae Extract to reduce the appearance of excess surface melanin, to make your skin tone look more even. It also features brightening vitamin C and calming tranexamic acid, which reduces the appearance of hyperpigmentation and prevents further discolouration.
Understanding the damage of sunlight and natural aggressors can cause to our skin, Charlotte shared: “Our skin experiences the effects of UV rays, hormones, blue light, stress and long hours on a daily basis. There are so many environmental factors that affect our skin, and after years spent visibly concealing these concerns with my makeup tricks, I knew I needed to invent an advanced solution that would help actively target and fade their appearance with skincare.
“I was inspired by the precision of lasers and wanted to create a super-targeted formula that reduces the appearance of dark spots without impacting the entire skin tone I couldn’t find anything that was universal, fast-acting or precise enough, so I worked with industry-leading scientists to create my own breakthrough dark spot serum for the face and eye area.”
One shopper shared her thoughts after trying the supercharged serum: “It was very effective and has a lovely texture to it, love the packaging and pump style bottle and great use of ingredients.”
Another added: “My skin looks so much brighter! Two pumps of this each morning and night is plenty to cover the face.” With limited reviews available, some expressed concerns over vitamin C as one posted: “My skin is sensitive with vitamin C and I’m not sure if this will cause any flare ups. It is expensive for a bottle and I wouldn’t want to risk it. Would be great if there’s a sample size I can try.”
