Cardi B Wins $60,000 From Blogger Tasha K After Posts Break Agreement

The rapper said the blogger violated a previous deal stemming from Cardi’s $4 million defamation victory in 2022
Gossip blogger Tasha K has agreed to pay Cardi B $60,000 after the Grammy-winning rapper went after the blogger for violating a previous legal ruling and disparaging her online.
The agreement, filed Tuesday and obtained by Rolling Stone, states that Cardi and Tasha K reached the resolution “to avoid the expense, delay and uncertainty of further litigation” over the total amount awarded. Their latest legal dispute stems from Cardi’s $4 million defamation victory in 2022 against the blogger, whose legal name is Latasha Kebe. Cardi agreed to delay efforts to collect the full judgment as long as Kebe refrained from denigrating Almánzar and her family.
Despite the agreement to stop, Almánzar, born Belcalis Almánzar, and her lawyers said that Kebe ignored the warnings and made recent social media posts about Almánzar’s estranged husband, Offset, and the father of her youngest child, NFL player Stefon Diggs.
The rapper filed a motion in April asking a judge to impose “economically painful” sanctions on the host of UnWineWithTashaK. Almánzar’s lawyers said they’ve been forced to constantly monitor Kebe’s social media for alleged violations amid an ongoing “cat and mouse” game over the last year. They’ve documented more than two dozen “egregious violations” of the non-disparagement clause, they claimed.
“Debtor still believes that she is above the law, consequences, and is invulnerable,” the filing in April stated. “And what makes this pattern of defiance particularly egregious is not merely the violations themselves, but what debtor has openly admitted in public broadcasts. … She has made clear that she intends to resume harassment of Ms. Almánzar once her debt is paid off.”
Tuesday’s agreement states that Kebe has promised to send Almánzar $30,000 within 28 days of the court order and the rest on or before December 31. If Kebe fails to make the payments by their due dates, the rapper can then write up a written notice of default and the blogger has five days to pay. If Kebe defaults, Almánzar can seek the full award of $110,115.
Reps for Almánzar and Kebe did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
