Yellowstone is in its fifth and final season, with only one episode left to air. While behind-the-scenes drama between showrunner Taylor Sheridan and Kevin Costner led to the latter’s departure, the series remains a ratings juggernaut and continues to spawn spin-offs. The latest is an upcoming spin-off starring Kelly Reilly & Cole Hauser, who will reprise their Yellowstone roles.

While spin-offs like 6666 and The Madison have been announced or are in production, there are only two direct Yellowstone spin-offs available to stream: 1883 and 1923. The extended Sheridanverse, however, is much larger, with shows like Landman and Mayor of Kingstown that have no direct relation to Yellowstone. Before Yellowstone, Sheridan acted in Sons of Anarchy and wrote the films Sicario and Hell or High Water.

Here’s what you need to know about streaming the spin-offs and related shows.

Yellowstone (2018-2024)

The show that started it all, Yellowstone is now in its fifth and final season. The show follows the Dutton family, landowners in Montana, who deal with personal and political conflicts. The series airs on the Paramount Network and was created before the Viacom-CBS merger, and the streaming rights were originally sold to Peacock.

That means old episodes are available to stream on Peacock, but the latest episodes from Season 5, part 2 won’t be streaming until months later. You can watch episodes when they air with a live TV streaming service. The best value is Philo, which costs $28/mo and includes Paramount Network.

1883 (2021-2022)

1883 is a prequel to Yellowstone, and it stars Sam Elliott, Tim McGraw, and Faith Hill. The series follows earlier generations of the Dutton family and ran as a single 10-episode season. The show was created for Paramount+.

1923 (2022-2025)

The second sequel to Yellowstone, 1923 stars Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren as Jacob and Cara Dutton. Ford plays the brother of Tim McGraw’s character from 1883. The first season aired in 2022, and the second will air in 2025. Like 1883, 1923 was created for Paramount+ and will return on Feb 23, 2025.

Other Yellowstone Spin-Offs

Michelle Pfeiffer will star in The Madison, which is in production. Other Yellowstone projects that have been teased include 6666, 1944, and the untitled Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler series. These series are still in the works, so details remain scant.

Other Taylor Sheridan Shows

In addition to Yellowstone and its prequels, the Sheridanverse includes a number of shows, all of which are available to stream on Paramount+

Landman (2024 – )

Landman stars Billy Bob Thornton, Jon Hamm, and Demi Moore and premiered on Nov. 17. The story revolves around the petroleum industry in Texas.

Lioness (2023 – )

Lioness stars Zoe Saldana as a CIA operative and Nicole Kidman as a high-ranking official in the agency. The first season aired in 2023, and the second aired in 2024. All 16 episodes air on Paramount+. A third season is possible, but has not been confirmed.

Tulsa King (2022 – )

Tulsa King stars Sylvester Stallone as a former member of the mafia in New York, who finds himself exiled to Oklahoma following his release from prison. The first season aired in 2022 and the second aired in 2024. The show has not been officially renewed, but Stallone is reportedly nearing a deal on a third and fourth season.

Mayor of Kingstown (2021 – )

Mayor of Kingstown stars Jeremy Renner and Hugh Dillon, and it’s set in Kingstown, Michigan. There are three seasons of the show. While the series has not been officially renewed, indicators point to a fourth season for the series.

Lawmen: Bass Reeves (2023 – 2023 )

Created by Chad Feehan and executive produced by Taylor Sheridan, Lawmen: Bass Reeves stars David Oyelowo in the fictionalized telling of Bass Reeves’ life, who escaped slavery and became a U.S. Marshal. Feehan stated, “If there is another season of Lawmen, it will focus on a new lawman or law woman.”
