Taylor Swift Drops New ‘Life of a Showgirl’ ‘Champagne Bubbles’ Vinyl

The new records were announced at the end of a vague countdown on the musician’s website
Taylor Swift is selling another vinyl version of her forthcoming album, The Life of a Showgirl after teasing the drop with a mysterious online countdown on her website that began a few hours beforehand. Swift teased the previous vinyl versions similarly. The album is set for an Oct. 3 release date.
Monday’s vinyl edition of her upcoming 12th album is called “Tiny Bubbles in Champagne” and will come in two different colors (“Under Bright Lights Pearlescent” and “Red Lipstick & Lace”), mirroring the releases before it. The “Champagne” vinyl have an alternate album cover with Swift in a bevy of red feathers while wearing a bejeweled star made up of big, round, clear jewels. According to Swift’s site, there will be only one pressing of the “Champagne” set and they are only available to order for 48 hours, with sales ending on Aug. 27 at 3:59 p.m. while supplies last. The previous vinyl sets are called the “Shiny Bug Edition” and the “Baby, That’s Show Business Edition.”
Swift previously said she wrote, produced, and recorded The Life of a Showgirl during her record-breaking Eras Tour in the summer of 2024. “I would be playing shows. I would do, like, three shows in a row. I’d have three days off,” she explained on New Heights, the podcast hosted by her boyfriend Travis Kelce where she first teased news of the new album. “I’d fly to Sweden, go back to the tour, and was actually working on this. I was physically exhausted at this point in the tour, but I was so mentally stimulated and so excited to be creating.”
