Summer House’s Ciara Didn’t Hear About West and Amanda Directly

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dolores Catania has offered insight into how Ciara Miller is coping  after the latter discovered her Summer House costars Amanda Batula and West Wilson are romantically involved.

“I did speak to Ciara, she’s doing OK,” Catania, 55, said on the Thursday, April 2, episode of the “Two T’s in a Pod” podcast, referring to her costar from The Traitors season 3. “I don’t think they were dating. I’m only assuming they had their closure with their relationship this year.”

Miller, 30, briefly dated Wilson, 31, in 2023, though he expressed interest in reuniting during Summer House season 10. At the time, Batula, 34, was still married to estranged husband Kyle Cooke. Batula and Cooke, 43, announced in January that they had separated, nearly three months before Batula confirmed that she had moved on with Wilson.

According to Catania, Miller didn’t hear about the new coupling from either of her Bravo housemates.

“She did not find out from her friend Amanda,” Catania claimed. “I will go on a limb to say, I did not know 100 percent until they both [released the statement]. You never know 100,000 percent until you hear it from the horse’s mouth, until you see it in black and white from them.”

Miller has not publicly addressed the apparent love triangle. Wilson and Batula have also kept a low profile since their fling made headlines. The trio are expected to reunite at the upcoming Summer House season 10 reunion later this month.

“It’s more between Ciara and Amanda at this point. Ciara was an amazing friend to Amanda,” Catania alleged on Thursday’s podcast episode. “She was always there for her through her marriage. She rode hard for her and Amanda knew how she felt about West. Now, Amanda was, of course, vulnerable, hadn’t been in a good relationship marriage for a long time now, but there’s a lot of guys though.”

Given Catania’s friendship with Miller, she’s been primarily focused on supporting her pal.

“My main thing with Ciara is she’s such a girl’s girl and a good friend and a good-hearted person,” Catania stated. “I said to her, ‘I don’t want you to change who you are. You’re going to appreciate this one day. You’re going to appreciate this experience because it’s going to teach you something that not everybody deserves all of you.’”

Miller’s casual relationship with Wilson, however, wasn’t completely over by the time she found out about his fling with Batula.

“West was hitting on Ciara, and they had hooked up recently, about three to four weeks ago,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly, with a second insider claiming that Miller and Wilson were in the process of “seeing if it would work again.”
