Since Cat Deeley took over the This Morning sofa back in March as Holly Willoughby’s replacement, she’s quickly become a style icon for viewers tuning in every morning. ITV even lists her outfits on its website so fans can get the scoop on exactly what she’s wearing, and Cat regularly shares her looks on Instagram, too. While she often wears high-end pieces, she’s also a big fan of high-street brands, with Marks & Spencer being among her go-to labels.

On Wednesday’s episode of This Morning, Cat wore a stunning satin skirt from M&S’ Autograph range that’s not only gorgeous but seriously in vogue right now. The flattering wrap silhouette pairs perfectly with this season’s kilt-inspired trend. And the golden amber shade fits in with the autumnal brown shades that seem to be everywhere this season.

The satin fabric and perfect length mean it’s a versatile piece that can easily transition from day to night. This beauty retails for £90, though it’s sadly sold out in most sizes (except for size 8). However, given how popular it is, it might just come back in stock, so keep an eye on M&S’ website.

Cat teamed the skirt with a sleek navy high-neck top from Reiss, priced at £88. I think it’s a bit of a wardrobe staple, as it pairs just as well with the skirt as it does with a pair of jeans for a more laid-back vibe. But Cat added a little something extra by tying a chic bow around her neck to elevate the look.

Now, if you love the bow detailing but not the price tag, I have some good news. M&S has a fabulous top that channels a similar aesthetic but for a fraction of the price.

The black fitted top is priced at just £26, and has a cinched silhouette that nips in at the waist. M&S says it’s designed to be “flattering”. The main draw of the design, though, is the two satin bows on the front for that extra touch of elegance.

Just like Cat’s look, this top is incredibly versatile. While it’s perfect worn with the pleated skirt, I think you could also chuck it on with jeans and some Mary Jane pumps for a laid-back yet stylish daytime look.

The M&S top is available in sizes six through 16, but if you’re after something a bit more minimalist, the Reiss top might be the one for you.
