Target is offering up a pint-sized new way for music lovers to get their tunes, with a new collection of mini LPs. Part of the appropriately-named Tiny Vinyl collection, the new discs measure just four inches in diameter but are 100% playable on traditional 33rpm turntables.
Target’s initial Tiny Vinyl drop includes records from Gracie Abrams, KATSEYE, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, Ariana Grande and more. All of the discs are numbered making them a super limited-edition collectible.
Tiny Vinyl is a Nashville-based business that aims to combine the thrill of scoring unique collectibles with the popularity and power of music. The company says it worked with the artists directly on the artwork and design of each record sleeve and label.
Because the mini LP discs are shrunk down in size, each Tiny Vinyl will only hold two singles — one per side — rather than a full album. Each song was chosen by the artist to represent a favorite or popular song from their album. These are officially-licensed releases, and Target is one of the only places you’ll be able to find them in stores and online.
A bonus: because the tiny discs only use one-tenth the material of a regular LP, Target says Tiny Vinyls are actually “better for the earth” and more “sustainable.” Target also says each mini record is made using renewable resources.
Here’s a look at some of the Tiny Vinyl albums and artists available to shop at Target now (many are Target exclusives). Don’t wait too long to add to cart as these limited releases are expected to sell out.
Other artists on the Tiny Vinyl roster include Rihanna, Noah Kahan, Post Malone, Jelly Roll, Black Sabbath, Backstreet Boys and more. Shop the full selection here.
And if you need somewhere to spin these new vinyl records, Target has this retro-style record player from Victrola on sale right now for just $69. The turntable and accessories fold down into a suitcase for easy storage when not in use.
