See Post Malone Perform With Dwight Yoakam at Los Angeles Concert

F-1 Trillion singer performed “Little Ways,” “Guitars and Cadillacs,” “Fast as You,” and “It Won’t Hurt” Friday at the country legend’s Greek Theater gig
From Stagecoach to earlier this month in Nashville, Post Malone’s gigs this year have frequently featured appearances by a bevy of country stars. On Friday night, Malone returned the favor by serving as surprise guest at another artist’s concert, popping up during Dwight Yoakam’s show in Los Angeles.
The F-1 Trillion singer joined Yoakam at the Greek Theater for a handful of songs Friday, including the set-ending trio of “Little Ways” (which the duo performed together during the Posty Goes Country set at Stagecoach), “Guitars and Cadillacs,” and “Fast as You.”
Malone also hung around for the encore, delivering a rendition of Yoakam’s 1986 classic “It Won’t Hurt,” off his Guitars, Cadillacs, Etc., Etc. released that same year.
Even before Posty Went Country, Malone and Yoakam performed together back in 2018, when the singer guested on Yoakam’s Greater Bakersfield satellite radio show. At the time, the duo performed a rendition of the Merle Haggard staple “The Bottle Let Me Down.”
Despite their frequent onstage meetups, Yoakam was surprisingly not among the artists on the leaked guest list of Malone’s upcoming country LP F-1 Trillion; Blake Shelton (“Pour Me a Drink“), Hardy, and Sierra Ferrell — all of whom appeared at Malone’s Nashville gig a few weeks ago — were among the rumored guests, along with Dolly Parton, Jelly Roll, Luke Combs (“Guy for That“), Lainey Wilson, Chris Stapleton, Tim McGraw, Morgan Wallen (“I Had Some Help“), and Malone’s buddy Billy Strings.
