Sabrina Carpenter Gifts Fans ‘Man’s Best Friend’ Bonus Track Version

Have You Ever Tried This One
There’s a special gift under the tree — or online — for the musician’s fans
Fans of Sabrina Carpenter have an extra Christmas present underneath their trees this year— or technically, wherever they stream music.
The “Espresso” singer dropped Man’s Best Friend (Bonus Track Version) via streaming platforms, which includes her previously shared track “Such a Funny Way.” In a bonus to the bonus, she also released the official lyric video for the song.
“To thank you for such a beautiful year …and to supply whoever needs a cathartic christmas crashout song… Man’s best friend bonus track edition with one of my favorites ‘Such a Funny Way’ is now officially available on streaming,” Carpenter wrote on Instagram on Christmas eve. “Thank you for caring for these songs the way i do and for such a special 2025!! I feel lucky to know there’s still so much good to come.”
it’s been a banner year for Carpenter, with the singer scoring her first-ever Number One Billboard debut with her song “Manchild.” Released Aug. 29, her sophomore album Man’s Best Friend debuted in the Number One spot on the Billboard 200 and was certified platinum only three months after its release. Not to be outdone by the previous success of “Espresso,” the rollout included a sexy music video for the second track “Tears,” which showed the Grammy-award winning artist dancing with actor Colman Domingo in drag.
Rolling Stone declared it the “Summer of Sabrina” in the summer double issue, where the singer opened up about the pressures of finally having a breakthrough year as a pop star.
“What people probably don’t realize is the more eyes you have on you, the harder it is to love what you’re doing, and you have to keep fighting to still love making things and to still love performing,” Carpenter said. “Because the critical sides start to taint it, and they start to make things less fun. They start to make friendships and relationships less fun and enjoyable. [But] there’s still so much light and goodness in this, if you’re doing it for the reason of you love it and can’t live without it.”
