Princess Eugenie has stepped out in South Korea for a new  art exhibition in its capital Seoul, however, she left royal fans unimpressed with one key detail regarding her outfit.

The Princess of York attended the opening of Nothing But a ‘G Thang: The Art & Archive of G-Dragon exhibition at Seoul’s Daelim Museum, where she rubbed shoulders with several A-listers including Pharrell Williams and G-Dragon.

In photographs posted on Instagram by Joopiter, a digital-first auction platform founded by Pharrell Williams, Eugenie can be seen wearing a black and white co-ord by Reiss, consisting of the Eva asymmetric contrast top (£98) and the Marie midi pleated skirt (£158).

She paired the look with a pair of black Aquazurra Divine 85 heels (£620) and a brown Louis Vuitton crossbody bag.

But whilst royal fans loved the overall black outfit, they did not approve of Eugenie’s choice for a brown bag.

One user wrote on Instagram: “I would absolutely change the bag.”

Another one added: “Nearly 10 out of 10 – best I’ve seen Eugenie in ages – but why the clumpy brown bag with the elegant black and cream outfit and lovely black shoes? Strange choice.”

A third one agreed: “For the most part I like her outfit, but the bag is a big NOPE.. maybe is a personal taste but I despise anything Louis Vuitton and besides that it doesn’t really fit or match the outfit at all.”

A fourth one said: “Love everything but the bag.”

A fifth one opined: “Ditch the bag and this one is a winner. ( why…..) That should have been obvious.”

Lastly, a sixth one commented: “Finally an outfit on Eugenie that I like! I agree the purse is not the best choice with it though. The purse’s wide, ivory strap is particularly distracting. Surely Eugenie has several simple black purses that would have been better.”
