Princess Amalia of the Netherlands was a vision in green during her latest appearance this week with a garment which was worn by the Duchess of York just two weeks ago.

Amalia attended Prinsjesdag – the opening of the Dutch parliament in The Hague on Tuesday alongside the rest of the Dutch royal family.

The 20-year-old stunned in a Safiyaa‘s Sarita cutout crepe gown in green (£1,700).

Sarah Ferguson wore the exact same dress to attend The Perfect World Foundation Honorary Conservation Award ceremony in Gothenburg, Sweden on September 5. She paired the look with a green clutch and diamond drop earrings.

Meanwhile, Amalia paired the elegant piece with gold accents, including the Rond Carré clutch by Jacquemus (£805), a pair of heeled sandals by Stuart Weitzman (£440) and a Sohi Vilma headband (£59), gold earrings and gold bracelets.

She completed the look by sporting the Order of the Netherlands Lion, which hung by a blue sash with orange stripes. The order is usually given to members of the Dutch royal house.

Amalia’s look sparked a frenzy among royal fans who seemed to love her style choice and took to social media to express their adoration.

One user wrote on Instagram: “She looks stunning and so confident. I love this event for her. The colour and style of the dress is lovely on her.”

Another one added: “She looks absolutely stunning! This is a perfect look wow.”

A third one agreed: “I’m not in love with this dress, but I love her in this dress! Stunning!”

A fourth one said: “She is magnificent! I really like this girl, she has a personality.”

A fifth one commented: “So wonderful to see the beautiful Amalia shining and showing such great style and confidence. “

A sixth one chimed in: “Absolutely gorgeous! I like how she wore the headband, it helps her look stay youthful.”
