Prince William looked dapper as he touched down in Cape Town, South Africa, earlier today (November 4) and was keen to pay tribute to war heroes ahead of Remembrance Sunday this weekend. The senior royal, 42, will spend the next four days touring and celebrating his project, the Earthshot prize.

However, royal fans were quick to pick up on the Prince’s new look, where he cut a casual figure. William was spotted in a sustainable shirt which he paired with a jacket and trousers.

Despite tying in an element of his formal dress, the Prince of Wales was still able to throw around a rugby ball with children who took part in the event. People were quick to pick up on the unique brand he decided to wear which was an ECOLAF shirt.

The Gael shirt is made from 50 percent organic cotton of the highest quality. The remaining half is from recycled cotton that comes from both discarded textile garments and end-of-life cotton products.

One fan dubbed the royal “gorgeous” as the heir to the throne mingled on the outside pitch and took the time to speak with coaches.

Writing on X, formerly known as Twitter, one user wrote: “Love that color. He’s so handsome. Hotness.” While a second agreed and said: “Gorgeous man.”

William was clearly wearing a look that was head turning as another chimed in and penned: “Screenshot saved! I think that shirt might be in my husband’s Christmas pile .”

“What a good-looking man – it’s not only looks, but actions that make a person attractive,” added a fourth user.

William also decided to wear a poppy lapel which had this year’s date written across the bottom of it, paying a nod to unsung war heroes who sacrificed their lives for Britain.

The prince kickstarted his visit in Cape Town by meeting young environmentalists taking part in the inaugural Earthshot Climate Leaders Youth Programme.

He was heard telling them that they were “going to change the world” in an empowering and moving speech.

He later visited Ocean View Secondary School, where he chatted with, among others, Nomzamo Mbatha. Miss Mbatha, 34, is a South African actress and human rights activist. The duo took a series of snaps and selfies with the children.

He also participated in a rugby coaching session on the school playing fields alongside legends of the sport, as well as in a digital skills lesson.
