M&S’s Bella Freud homeware range delivers designer looks

Fashion designer Bella Freud has teamed up with Marks & Spencer for the second time, but in addition to the bright cashmere jumpers and incredible velvet blazer we’re lusting after, the homeware caught our eye – and it’s is much more affordable.
Launching online and in selected stores from Thursday, October 16, the new M&S x Bella Freud Winter 2025 collection builds on the success of last year’s sell-out debut. Known for her sharp tailoring and cult 1970 jumpers, Freud has now included her style on everything from dinnerware to scented candles for M&S shoppers.
Discussing her inspiration, Bella revealed that her home edit is designed around the idea of entertaining at home, with pieces that feel playful but elevated. Inspired by “the pleasure of taking care of people in your home”, we’d say the collection is warm, witty, and completely giftable.
Prices start at £10 for nibble bowls, which is a fraction of what you’d pay for Bella’s own designer range. There, a single mug costs around £35, a plate £50, and her signature candles over £60. Here, shoppers can capture her style for far less, without sacrificing charm.
For me, the standout pieces are the candles, which are emblazoned with Bella’s signature hand-drawn script and include the festive ‘Starry Starry Nights’ and ‘Divine Feminine’ that was popular in the last collection. Each costs £15, while the diffuser is £20.
In addition to the candles, the homeware also includes a statement serving bowl (£20), napkins (£14), glasses (£15 for two) and mugs — which also come in a pack of two and cost just £12.
There’s also 100% cotton bedding available in sizes single, double, king and superking (£69 to £99), that combines white and red without it looking too Christmassy, thanks to its clean design.
Beyond the tableware and candles, there’s plenty to bring the theme full circle with matching family pyjamas, cashmere socks, sleep masks and even a dog jumper, for those who want to extend the festivities to every member of the household. The PJs, made from 100% cotton sateen, come in soft blue with red piping and embroidered words like “Dreamers”, “Snuggle”, and “Snooze”.
The wider fashion range continues the brand’s signature look and includes a velvet tuxedo suit, silk shirts and cashmere knits, alongside new versions of the iconic word jumpers.
