Lainey Wilson, Mumford & Sons Cover ‘Man, I Feel Like a Woman’: Watch

Marcus Mumford was having quite some fun as Mumford & Sons returned to New Orleans on their Railroad Revival Tour. During the group’s show in Louisiana on Sunday, Mumford brought out Lainey Wilson for a folky, banjo-backed rendition of Shania Twain‘s classic “Man, I Feel Like a Woman.”
As Wilson sang along to the track, Mumford danced and frolicked onstage before joining her for the iconic line, “Man, I feel like a woman!” He also jumped in for a verse of his own, then grabbed a tambourine to play alongside the band, horn section and all.
“Can it be Mumford & Sons + one new sister now?” Wilson joked, posting a carousel of photos with Marcus and the band, on Instagram. “Made music and friends for a lifetime with all of these folks in New Orleans yesterday.”
The group will continue their 2025 tour Tuesday night with a show in Richmond, Virginia, before a pair of shows in New York City this weekend. The tour will continue in October with a run of shows in Chicago, Columbus, Buffalo, Detroit, and Nashville before heading to Europe in November.
Just like the initial Railroad Revival tour, Mumford & Sons will be joined by guests every night, including the likes of Nathaniel Rateliff, Trombone Shorty, Madison Cunningham, Lucius, Ketch Secor, and Leif Vollebekk, among others.
“We felt we had some unfinished business on the great American railroad. So, we’ve spent a lot of time cooking up this idea for another rolling festival to rip through the south and east of the U.S…. The spirit of what we do, at its core, is always about people and collaboration,” Mumford said in a statement when the run was announced. “So, every show will be a collaborative performance from a bunch of our favorite people on the planet, and every show will be different. This will, without doubt, be the coolest house band we’ll ever get to play in.”
