Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars Will Perform at 2025 Grammys

Shaboozey, who’s up for Best New Artist, will also take the stage
After performing an unreleased song about hope amid chaos at the Los Angeles benefit concert FireAid Thursday, Lady Gaga will perform a tribute to those affected by the fires alongside Bruno Mars at the 2025 Grammys on Sunday. Best New Artist nominee Shaboozey will also hit the stage for a separate performance.
The Recording Academy announced the new performers Friday, sharing that the “Die With a Smile” collaborators would perform a “special tribute to the city of Los Angeles and those affected by the wildfires.”
Gaga and Mars are nominated for Song of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Die With a Smile.” Gaga has performed at the Grammys nearly every year she’s been invited. She hit the stage last in 2022 to pay tribute to her friend Tony Bennett, while Mars also performed as part of Silk Sonic that same year.
For his part, Shaboozey is a first-time performer. He’s the only country star up for Best New Artist and earned a nod for joining Beyoncé on “Spaghettii” in the Best Melodic Rap Performance category. His massive hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” also got nominated for Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance.
On Thursday night, Gaga closed FireAid LA by performing a song written by her fiancé Michael Polansky about time being a healer. “When I was thinking about what to sing tonight I wanted to do something hopeful for you,” she said onstage. “It’s just for tonight, it’s just for you.”
Last week, the Recording Academy confirmed Billie Eilish, Charli XCX, and Shakira as performers. Joining them will be most of the Best New Artist nominees: Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, Doechii, Raye, Benson Boone, and Teddy Swims. Trevor Noah will return as host this year.
