Over 50 years since Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham first laid down the tracks for their only album together at Sound City Studios in Los Angeles before joining Fleetwood Mac, the duo will release their 1973 LP once again this fall. Now available to preorder online, the Buckingham Nicks reissue includes 10 tracks, including the LP’s opener “Crying in the Night,” “Crystal,” and “Frozen Lake.”
While it’s previously not been available since its initial drop, the Buckingham Nicks reissue comes in a variety of exclusive vinyl editions, including a custard Amazon exclusive vinyl record, along with a limited-edition Rhino High Fidelity singles edition, which has already sold out online. The reissue is also getting a CD release, which is available to order on Amazon for $14.98.
“[We] knew what we had as a duo, two songwriters that sang really well together,” Nicks says in the album’s liner notes, which were written by Rolling Stone contributor David Fricke, per a release. “And it was a very natural thing, from the beginning.”
According to a release, Buckingham also says in the notes that the album “stands up in a way you hope it would, by these two kids who were pretty young to be doing that work.”
The Buckingham Nicks reissue drops on Sept. 19, 2025. Fans can also collect a violet copy of the vinyl at Books a Million, and a baby pink vinyl at independent record stores, while they’re in stock. Check out the complete track list, below.
