Ever wish you could jump right into the middle of Heated Rivalry — or, more specifically, into Ilaya and Shane’s arms? Well, now you can. Sort of.
Airbnb just announced a new experience that lets fans stay in the exact cottage featured in the smash HBO series. Located in Muskoka, Canada, the three-bedroom retreat officially opened for bookings on March 3, 2026. And in a development that will surprise absolutely no one who has spent five minutes on the internet lately, fans immediately crashed the Airbnb site trying to reserve it.
The listing starts at a very reasonable $249.10 CAD per night. But there’s a catch. It’s already fully booked until Feb. 2028, which is also as far ahead as Airbnb currently allows you to check availability. So if you were hoping to live out your Ilaya-and-Shane lakeside fantasy anytime soon, you may need to practice a little patience (or a lot of obsessive page refreshing).
Still, there’s a silver lining: just because you can’t stay in the cottage that housed TV’s favorite star-crossed lovers doesn’t mean you can’t rent nearby. And honestly, in Muskoka, that’s basically the same thing, right?
Muskoka isn’t just known for its stunning views, the region has long served as a getaway for Hollywood’s elite, including everyone’s favorite Kiss All the Time, Disco Occasionally enthusiast, Harry Styles. Rumor has it he even owns a home somewhere along the lake.
And if Styles’ stamp of approval isn’t enough to convince you to book a trip, Rolling Stone’s resident Canadian Tim Chan said, “Growing up in Canada, we all either had a cottage or knew friends who had cottages and it was where we headed to in the summer to fish, swim, canoe or just hang out in nature. My parents own a cottage in Muskoka, which is known as “cottage country” in Canada. It’s a region full of lakes and trees and fresh air, making it an ideal place to build (or rent) your dream cottage stay.”
This also isn’t the first time Airbnb has leaned into the immersive pop-culture vacation trend. The company has previously offered fans the chance to stay in everything from a life-size Polly Pocket house to swamp-inspired lodging in Scotland as an ode to Shrek.
So if you can’t officially book the Barlochan Cottage until two years from now, there are plenty of other incredible properties nearby to scratch the Muskoka itch. Because let’s be real: it doesn’t actually matter where you’re kissing and conversing. What really matters is who you’re doing it with.
