Gov Ball 2025 Delays Sets Due to Weather, Announces Revised Lineup

Olivia Rodrigo, Feid, and Wave to Earth are all playing the New York music festival later than anticipated, while some earlier performers were canceled
Governors Ball 2025 kicked off on Friday with a jam-packed lineup and memorable sets by acts like Tyler, the Creator and Mk.gee, but the second day of the New York music festival faced some hiccups because of inclement weather. On Saturday morning, the festival posted a message letting attendees know that due to weather, doors would be pushed back from 12 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
“Due to predicted weather, doors will be delayed until 4:30pm.,” a post on X read. Rain and thunder had been forecasted in the area.
Later, the festival shared the full lineup, showing that acts scheduled for earlier in the day including Lexa Gates, Yaya Bey, and the Backfires had been canceled, while all later acts had been pushed back by between one and two hours.
Headliner Olivia Rodrigo, originally scheduled to take the main stage at 8:30 p.m., was moved to a 9:25 start time. Feid and Wave to Earth, scheduled to finish the night at the festival’s other two stages, were moved from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 and 8:45, respectively. Acts including Marina, Young Miko, Conan Gray, and Car Seat Headrest were set to perform in the early evening.

Sunday’s show, which features headliner Hozier, is expected to continue as planned. This year marks the 15th anniversary of the festival, which is taking place at New York’s Flushing Meadows Corona Park.
