Gary Owen Shares Heartbreaking Deion Sanders Story And Tour Dates

Comic Gary Owen posted something that really struck him in his heart. He opened up about a really sad story about Deion Sanders and immediately people poured reactions in. Owen did not get into specifics, but from what Sanders told him, they were definitely heavy on heartstrings. They were probably comments filled with laughter, shock, yet pure tears.

What is this, though? So Owen put up a video he made during a stand-up gig in which he recalls Sanders dropping some kind of bombshell on him. The caption reads, “This broke my heart when Deion Sanders told blah blah blah,” followed by a list of dates for tour stops and hashtags. No context at all. Pure agony. And the people of the internet? They had THOUGHTS.

User @joncornes said, “Great story! But yeh…that Black & Gold still hit different!” Random, but okay. @kxng_clee basically said, “I’m in Columbus. Trust would’ve been crazy as hell!!” Like what does that even mean? But hey, energy is energy.

Then there was @freshprince_cincylanta who took it to a whole other level, commenting, “1irrggg!! Think what shoes would have came with that dammmmm.” Obviously, the first thing you think of when you hear a heartbreaking story is…footwear. Classic.

But the gold star goes out to the one chatty @zak_kirchner, who said, “I didn’t know I could be this mad at 9am. Neon Deioooooon 😭” Mood. Absolute mood.

Some got deep into it, like @abarber32002, who mentioned Sanders’ book and then went to the ‘interview he had with Arkansas before Colorado’. @mommy_513 scaled it to Bob Huggins leaving Cincinnati, while @d_blackwell11 just screamed at “Oh my God the city would’ve been LIT 🔥🔥” just because vibes.

The jokes kept piling on. @rodneyglasgowjr threw Owen an “Are you sure you don’t want to call God back? 😂😂”, while @archangelfreemanjr.reginald went full conspiracy with, “So the eight toe shot was from feeling like Prime keeps torturing you about coming to Cincinnati.” Wait, what?

Yet @wayne_diesel hits back with “Deion made the Colorado decision with all 10 toes. Then Eight toes afterwards. 😂😂” To which @docta_scott immediately countered with “Corny comment when he nearly died and had those toes amputated at JSU”, to which, yikes.
