Expert shares hacks to ‘get the most’ out of Alpha H firming eye cream
Skincare brand Alpha H has shared easy ways for shoppers to “get the most” out of their corrective Liquid Gold Firming Eye Cream – and fans are desperate to try them.
Infused with actual gold flakes and Snap-8 Octapeptide, which is commonly known as the topical treatment alternative to Botox, the anti-ageing eye cream works to target sun and age-induced degeneration of the delicate eye area.
It worked like a miracle to one shopper as she said: “I have been using eye creams for a decade since my early 20s and this has been the best so far. The skin around my eyes feels soft rather than tight and doesn’t sting at all. Really happy with this product.”
Other than depuffing peptides, the eye cream also contains Native Australian Lime Pearl AHAs that gently exfoliate the undereye area for softer skin and brighten the shadows.
The cult-favourite eye cream is now available at Marks and Spencer for £65 and Alpha H has shared some expert-approved tips on Instagram.
The post read: “How to make your eye cream work harder – tip one, keep your eye cream in the fridge to de-puff tired eyes.
“Tip two: Swipe over your smile lines! After all, your eye cream’s concentrated Peptide formula is just as effective for use around the lips and nasolabial folds.
“Final tip, If you’re going to effort of using an eye cream, apply it morning and night for the best results (remember, peptides work cumulatively!)”
A shopper commented: “I’ve really loved this product! I could tell from my first night’s application that it certainly firmed my skin around my eyes! Also extremely easy to apply!”
Another added: ” This is the best eye cream I have ever used. It visibly reduces my dark circles and under-eye puffiness.”
But some struggled to see improvement, with one saying: “It’s a decent moisturising cream but was not a stand out compared to the eye gel formula I ordered first.”
“The tube and nozzle were great for applying the cream, however, the metal nozzle causes the cream to go green, which wasn’t very pleasant,” a second complained.
Skincare buffs also like the Perricone MD Vitamin C Ester CCC + Ferulic Brightening Under-Eye Cream – an award-winning product to treat three types of under-eye discolouration: brown, blue and red.
The biomimetic oat protein visibly reduces redness and leaves the delicate eye area feeling calmed and comforted.
For a budget option, L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Filler Renew Eye Cream is loved by actress Helen Mirren and it comes with a cooling metal bead applicator. Shoppers can now get a discount at LookFantastic.
