Benson Boone Backflips Off Jimmy Fallon’s Desk

The singer-songwriter also performed “Momma Song” on The Tonight Show
Benson Boone brought his high-flying acrobatics to the late-night stage on Wednesday.
When appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the singer-songwriter discussed his upcoming American Heart tour in support of his upcoming album of the same name. The 30-date run, which sold out in seconds, will stop at cities across North America this fall. Naturally, Fallon asked Boone if he would be performing his signature flip.
“There’s no guaranteed flips,” Boone informed the talk show host. This prompted Fallon to ask if the singer plans and practices his flips. With a sigh, Boone replied, “No,” and said that he’s been doing flips since preschool.
Not one to miss out on a chance for showmanship, Fallon asked if Boone could do a flip for the audience, and the artist obliged, backflipping off the revered Tonight Show desk.
In addition to famously flipping off a grand piano at the 2025 Grammys, where he was nominated for Best New Artist, Boone has also catapulted on stages at Coachella, the MTV Video Music Awards, and more.
After the tender “Momma Song,” the latest single from his upcoming sophomore album American Heart, out June 20. In April, Boone released “Mystical Magical,” after debuting the song during his Coachella performance. He dropped the LP’s first single, “Sorry I’m Here for Someone Else,” in February, with the song reaching the Top 40 of the Hot 100.
When speaking to Rolling Stone for its March cover story, Boone said, “I’m ready for this year,” adding: “I’m so rested, and my mind is so clear. It’s unbelievable.”
