Anya Taylor-Joy’s Outfit on The Drew Barrymore Show Photos
Anya Taylor-Joy’s latest outfit served up the best sartorial illusion. On Nov. 15, the “The Menu” star delivered some major Y2K nostalgia in a babydoll dress by Nensi Dojaka from the brand’s spring 2023 ready-to-wear collection. While heading to set for an appearance on “The Drew Barrymore Show,” Taylor-Joy strutted through the streets of NYC in a pair of strappy, peep-toe sandals in a translucent finish, creating the illusion that she was walking barefoot à la Gigi Hadid.
The backless heels featured a single strap across Taylor-Joy’s foot, showing off her cherry-red pedicure. The pop of color also appeared in Taylor-Joy’s manicure and in her vibrant red lipstick. From afar, the heels were practically invisible, with only the subtle gloss of the strap giving away the accessory.
The strappy theme continued on the bodice of Taylor-Joy’s babydoll minidress, which featured a series of elaborate cutouts in hot-pink fabric. From the plunging neckline that dipped just above her belly button to the lavender ruffles on either side of the bust, the entire bodice played another trick on the eyes, creating a pastel butterfly design. She completed the look with stud earrings and a set of statement rings on both hands.
For stars like Dua Lipa and Olivia Rodrigo, the butterfly fashion trend is a favorite, and Taylor-Joy’s latest outfit is a sign that the whimsical design is here to stay.
