Watch Geese Perform ‘Au Pays du Cocaine,’ ‘Trinidad’

The Brooklyn-based band debuts on SNL with two tracks from their latest album, Getting Killed
Indie rock band Geese debuted on Saturday Night Live with two tracks from their latest album, Getting Killed.
The foursome—joined by their touring keyboardist Sam Revaz—opened with “Au Pays du Cocaine” (In the Land of Cocaine), the eighth song on their 11-track album, which came out in September.
The Brooklyn-based band’s follow-up to 2021’s Projector and 3D Country two years later, Getting Killed was a chore to make.
“I was unhappy until the last possible moment,” frontman Cameron Winter, 23, told Rolling Stone last August. “Maybe even still. The whole process — maybe this is just how we make albums — but it’s all kind of a waking nightmare until it’s mastered.”
Guitarist Emily Green agreed: “It does feel like a brute-force effort until the very end.”
The album, recorded last January in Los Angeles, reached the top spot on the UK Independent Albums Chart, and is ranked fifth on Rolling Stone‘s list of the 100 Best Albums of 2025.
Geese’s second song of the night was opening track “Trinidad.”
The group, which the schoolmates formed ten years ago, are touring worldwide; after a Jan. 31 show in Honolulu, Hawaii next Saturday, they’ll next be in the states in March at the Treefort Music Festival in Boise, Idaho. They’re also set to perform at Coachella, the Governors Ball, and Bonnaroo, among other festivals.
