Jack White and Eminem Perform Detroit Lions’ Thanksgiving Day Classic: Watch

The rapper appeared with his fellow Detroiter to rock their hometown with songs “That’s How I’m Feeling” and “‘Till I Collapse”
Jack White made Detroit proud on Thursday with an electrifying halftime set at the Detroit Lions‘ Thanksgiving Day Classic, the annual tradition that kicks off the NFL’s Thanksgiving day game festivities. This year, the Lions are hosting the Green Bay Packers at Ford Field, where White took center field for his hometown set.
White kicked off with the song “That’s How I’m Feeling” from his 2024 album No Name, before being joined on stage by Detroit’s own Eminem for a high-octane hard rock mash-up of the rapper’s track “’Till I Collapse.” White then brought the half-time performance to a showstopping performance of the sports stadium favorite, “Seven Nation Army,” accompanied by the Detroit Lions Cheerleaders on the field.
While White rocked the halftime show, the hometown team’s performance was not quite as electrifying early in the game — although things picked toward the half. After two quarters, the Packers were up by three with the score at 17-14. Last year was the first year since 2016 that the Lions have won their annual NFL Thanksgiving faceoff and fans are hoping for a repeat.
White’s appearance was executive produced by fellow Detroiter Eminem and his longtime manager Paul Rosenberg. The pair entered a multiyear partnership with the club to produce all aspects of the team’s halftime production through 2027, including choosing the performers, for the Detroit Lions Thanksgiving Classic.
Earlier in the month, White was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame with Meg White (who did not attend the ceremony, as expected) as the White Stripes.
