Daniel Radcliffe Teases New Project With Mysterious Behind The Scenes Clip

Radcliffe just put in a cryptic behind-the-scenes clip to tease all of us about what he may be working on. The Harry Potter star posted a jump cut scene with a caption: “Behind the scenes. Can you guess the show?” And then a lot of crazy theories came in.

It shows Radcliffe getting into character with hyper-intensity, going on and on with “I’m on fire” repeated with flair. Context? None. Help? None. Just pure Daniel chaos-energy that somehow gels craftsmanlike with an actor who relishes odd jobs after Potter.

“Potter and the Menopausal Mayhem?”, one user joked shortly after the clip went live. Another person referenced his quasi-Marvel career with, “And that’s how he became Wolverine.” And yet another chimed in with “Harry Potter and the Thunder dome!!!!!” And we would totally watch that.

But far and away, the most gallant was in Spanish and translated as, “I got chills watching him get into character.” Radcliffe could be the one that does this to people: Even if we don’t know what he’s doing, we’re fascinated.

Thousands of fans are saying they’ve cracked the code inside, referring multiple times to Miracle Workers, the TBS anthology where Radcliffe starred as everything from a lowly angel to a medieval prince. “Every season of MW was a gem,” one said while another added, “I think I liked season 2 the best.”

An oddball random philosophical comment about “never giving up hope” perfectly summarizes the weirdly beautiful Radcliffe fandom, and in what other place will one see deep spiritual ponderings alongside jokes about him being Wolverine?

A few got so far as to be incidentally specific: “Is this when he found out Snape was actually Black?” Somehow, Potter is still living rent-free in everybody’s minds even all these decades. “Scenes from the movie ‘my paycheck hit the account,’” was a very apt Portuguese comment that might have actually taken the cake.

Radcliffe’s choice of roles has always been classy-whether as a farting corpse in Swiss Army Man or the Emmy-nominated Weird: The Al Yankovic Story. This teaser is proof that the man is keeping us guessing, and we are loving every minute of it!

The man who gave us the boy who lived still weirdly acts, yet with all of his talent, life goes on, and we are here just for the ride. At least this thing won’t be boring.
