ESPN’s Erin Kate Dolan and Philadelphia Phillies’ Alec Bohm Are Dating

ESPN’s Erin Kate Dolan and Philadelphia Phillies star Alec Bohm confirmed their relationship on the cusp of spring training.

Dolan, 28, posted a carousel of photos from Super Bowl festivities in New Orleans via Instagram on Tuesday, February, 11, which included two pictures of her and Bohm, 28, cozying up together. 

“Best weekend of my life,” Dolan captioned the post. 

Dolan’s followers quickly caught wind of the significance of the moment, which showed her and Bohm together in social media photos for the first time.

“Hard launch,” one person commented. Another joked, “Gonna tell my kids this was Travis & Taylor.”

Speculation has swirled about Bohm and Dolan, a Philadelphia native, since last summer when she coyly posted a photo of herself at a Phillies home game in July 2024. 

Dolan actually let confirmation of the couple’s relationship slip before the Instagram post in a pre–Super Bowl interview with the Philadelphia Inquirer. 

“Yes, I do date Alec Bohm, everyone knows that,” Dolan said in a story published on Saturday, February 8. “Last Super Bowl, I brought my brother as my security guard. This year, Alec is coming, so we’re going to go to the game together.”

She added, “Having someone who’s in the same industry [and being able] to support each other is great, just because you deal with the same outside noise a lot of people don’t understand.”

As for the secrecy surrounding their relationship, Dolan said they “try to keep it low-key.”

Dolan joined ESPN in December 2021 as a sports betting analyst. She appears regularly on the network’s sports betting news and information program, ESPN BET Live, and ESPN’s NFL pregame show Sunday NFL Countdown.

A graduate of Penn State University, Dolan was formerly a sports reporter at PHL17 in Philadelphia and a sideline reporter for the National Lacrosse League’s Philadelphia Wings.

In an October 2024 interview with Main Line Today, Dolan explained she’s always had a knack for broadcast journalism. 

“I don’t know where it comes from,” she says. “My parents used to film me dancing and singing. They thought I’d be in entertainment. But I can’t dance or sing. But I never had any fear of being in front of a camera.”

Bohm, a native of Omaha, Nebraska, was selected third overall by the Phillies in the 2018 MLB Draft. He made his Major League debut in August 2020 and has been Philadelphia’s stalwart third baseman since 2022. In 2024, Bohm was named to his first MLB All-Star Game. 

The Phillies’ first first full squad Spring Training workout is scheduled for Monday, February 17, in Clearwater, Florida.
