Chappell Roan Parts Ways With Her Management Team: Report

A day after picking up six Grammy nominations comes news that the singer and State of the Art parted ways
Just a day after Chappell Roan picked up six Grammy nominations, the singer has reportedly parted ways with her management team.
Billboard reports that Roan has split with management group State of the Art and her manager Nick Bobetsky, a move that was seemingly confirmed when State of the Art posted a congratulatory Instagram post to all of their Grammy nominees that excluded mention of Roan.
Hits Daily Double first reported back in October there were “rumors” that Roan and State of the Art were on the outs. The rumors came just weeks after Roan faced a pair of controversies related to her remarks about the presidential election and her last-minute cancellation of the All Things Go festivals.
“Things have gotten overwhelming over the past few weeks and I am really feeling it,” Roan said at the time. “I feel pressures to prioritize a lot of things right now and I need a few days to prioritize my health.”
Soon after, the Every Single Album podcast stated that Roan had fired the management team, and that top music managers were now vying for her business, but neither the artist nor the management company ever commented on the split.
Roan is up for six awards at the 2025 Grammys, including nods in all of the “Big Four” categories: Album of the Year (The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess), Song and Record of the Year (“Good Luck, Babe!”), and Best New Artist. She’s also in the running for Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album.
